Many children loves reading and there are millions who like or love reading. Indeed, it is the one of the most essential skill that we all should poses. But nowadays, people don't want to struggle they all want easy and short cut way to their problems. Therefore, how to learn and teach quick reading skills to the children is the main concern. Language teaching is different from the learning of a language in a real setting in the sense that it also includes the acquisition of more other skills than listening and speaking. Reading, according to Merriam-Webster (2023), is the process of deciphering the meaning or sense of letters, symbols, etc., especially through touch or sight. According to experts and educators, reading is a complex activity that requires a variety of skills, including phonemic awareness, alphabetic recognition, phonics, comprehension, fluency, and motivation. (Subgroups, 2000). Reading is one of the most important of the four English language proficiency abilities. The ability to comprehend written content is known as reading competency.

This indicates that the written material can be understood by someone with this skill. Additionally, he or she has strong reading comprehension abilities. One essential ability that promotes long-term success is reading. Actually, the development of additional skills and related language abilities is facilitated by the ability to read and the knowledge necessary to comprehend written material accurately. Many stakeholders believe that reading is a skill that is undervalued. Many of us are unaware, in fact, that reading comprehension and this general skill transfer naturally to other related skills like "Writing." Growing these skills will benefit you in many ways in this highly skill-oriented world. This reading's definition as a skill has already been covered. To break it down even more, reading enables us to interpret written symbols, or texts, as meaning. Furthermore, skills are a particular kind of work that requires specialized training. A child who masters these abilities can use a variety of reading strategies and tactics, including identifying keywords and information, summarizing, looking for context cues, and more. Reading skills that are most frequently needed are: To interpret a word Sound awareness Understanding Flow. Similarly, Joshi and Poudel (2076) have mentioned reading is the process of interpreting written symbols to extract meaning and comprehend the intended message. It is a language skill. To read words, we must decode each individual letter. Reading is actually the skill of quickly and accurately decoding the letters and making sense of the text that is presented. For the learners to comprehend the meaning of a text, they must accurately read every word. They will comprehend a text if they can understand every word in it. To fully understand what they are reading, a reader must actively participate. It is important to read with the intention of producing something. Therefore, it's a means of deriving significance of what you read.

Exploring the reading technique and teaching them is really tough tasks. Therefore, helping them to understand the text and the content is the real concern of the study. Reading is receptive skills that mean we receive something after reading something. We gain something after reading something. Strategies mean doing something in different way so that they can easily understand the theme of something easily. Furthermore, it is a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim. So what could be done in order to develop better reading skill among the children? What kind of tactics we can apply in the classroom to teach reading skills? Thus, reading is not a passive activity it requires continues effort and determination. Therefore, my study will discover the strategy to enhance the reading skills in the children. Similarly, Joshi and Poudel (2076) mention that reading strategies are methods for resolving issues that arise when reading to construct meaning. There is always a strategy involved in teaching reading. The reason for this is that after reading, students must write, explain, paraphrase, summarize, and interpret. A teacher can encourage students to read in the classroom in a variety of ways. Reading strategies are imparted through feedback, teacher modeling, and straightforward explanation. In class, the students read aloud and reflect, and the use of their strategies is encouraged.

Reading comprehension studies, according to Alfassi (2004), have demonstrated that reading is a sophisticated cognitive process requiring the integration of memory and meaning building. It is also necessary for both appropriate functioning and acquiring knowledge in the modern world. It takes a variety of skills to become experts in anything. We don't search for things to fail at; after all, we all want to be successful people. However, in order to be achieved, each of these successes or achievements calls for a special set of methods or strategies. Consequently, this problem has motivated me to research this topic. Similarly, my study will be limited to only grade seven students. Reading requires immense attention. Reading skills is very necessary in every professional field. Reading helps to find the main theme of the content and similarly it helps to get hidden information from the content. But it requires strategy, the tactics that help to enhance reading skills.
